Absolute Truth Only Comes From God

Nothing else is absolute (not speed of light, rotation of heavenly bodies, or time itself) just God and His Word. Jesus said that God’s Word is Truth: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17). Absolute truth comes from Absolute Authority which commands and demands absolute respect, absolute submission, and absolute obedience to His truth.

To not obey the truth results in hell. To go there you do not have do anything. Yes, hell is very real. “That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thess. 2:12). “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Thess. 1:8).

God the Father, God the Son who is Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit can not lie. In fact, it is impossible for God to lie that is the very nature of God and His character is always truth. “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” (Titus 1:21).

Remember, you were given the word of the one true living God. Because of your free will, God allows you to believe lies, instead of believing the truth of God. “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie” (2 Thess. 2:11). You have to do your own homework and see if the scriptures are the truth. Therefore, there is no one that accounts for your soul but you i.e., no excuses will be allowed before God’s judgement of your soul.

“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God”(1 Peter 4:11). This plainly says and means, everything must be from book, chapter and verse from God’s truth. We are to “prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thess. 5:21). “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” (2 Peter 1:20). This applies to all scripture from God’s word, since prophecy also means preaching the word of God. So, we must understand what God reveals in His Word must be applied as God intended.

Jesus proclaims if you love Him, you obey God’s word. ”If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). Jesus qualifies that you must do more than just believe, you must do action of keeping His commandments. Not, just some commands but all the commandments of God in the New Will or Testament which made the Law old or Old Testament when Jesus died sinless on the cursed cross. “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth” (Hebrews 9:14-17).

“And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female” (Matthew 19:4). Jesus affirms that in the beginning, on the 6th day of creation, God joined Adam and Eve as married for life without divorce. And with Jesus’ lineage traced all the way from Adam to Him, the earth is not millions of millions of years old but just 5,000 years. Remember Jesus cannot lie!

“And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Ephesians 3:9-11). The bride of Christ or the church of Christ was the mystery of God and salvation of souls by Jesus adding to His church such as should be saved. “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved” (Acts 2:47). You can never ever join the church of Christ, you must be added by Jesus to His church.

”Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). So, Jesus qualified the one baptism which must be both water and the Spirit to be saved. No other baptism is acceptable to Jesus not even John’s water baptism which cannot forgive sin. “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:3-4). ”Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:36-38). This is the start of the church of Christ by the six steps of salvation which records the baptism of water.

”There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:4-6). This is the oneness of God, only one body or church or bride and Jesus’ bride wears His name only. So, there are no Baptist churches going to heaven. There are no other churches accepted by Jesus as His bride; just the church that obeys His commandments. There is only one Holy Spirit that witnesses and confirms your works of God for rightness. There is only one Jesus Christ the Son of God and Lord. There is only one faith that is the word of God that Jesus will accept, no other faith. There is only one baptism that is informed steps of salvation to be of the baptism of water and Spirit for forgiveness of sins done in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost that will be accepted by Jesus.  By His name is the power to forgive sins (see Matthew 28:18-20). Finally, only one Living God who is everyone’s God and Father. There are no other gods but Him not even Satan has power except what God grants him. Sorry, no Allah exists.

Saved Christians added to the church can decided to change God’s Will and go against His authority. ”Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23). These are those who try to improve ways doing worship, and other methods that Christ did not authorize in His bride, also known as the church of Christ.

Where do I get the name of Christ’s bride? Why Romans 16:16: “Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.”

So, what are the 6 steps of salvation? Every step requires that you have knowledge and understanding of each step to know and accept the calling of Jesus Christ. All six steps must be done in order.  No omissions are accepted by Jesus Christ. ”For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God”(Romans 10:3)

• First, by hearing that comes from the word of God of Jesus’ good news.
• Then, believing that all men sin and Jesus is the only savior of our souls (Rom.10:17).
• Then repentance of our sins that we must be baptized of Jesus in His name for forgiveness of our sins in watery grave witnessed by the Spirit, of our good conscious (2 Corinthians 7:10).
• Then confession before others in public that Jesus is the Son of God and is also God (Romans 10:9-11).
• Then baptism of Christ in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit which has the power to forgive all sin, by washing away, calling on the name of the Lord (Acts 22:14-16; 1 Peter 3;20-21).
• Finally, you worship at a faithful church of Christ not forsaking the gathering of the saint every first day of the week to fellowship and worship the Lord with the Lord’s supper, singing without instrumental music, praying, hearing God’s word, and the reading of God’s word.

The church must not be supporting or accepting of man-made organizations or methods or human institutions like orphan homes, colleges, bus ministries, preaching schools, church sponsorship to other churches to combine to teach, preach, or any other activity for God said each church does it own work. No social meals, for God said if you hunger go home to eat.  The only meal at church is the Lord’s Supper. And so, living the Christian life that is faithful to God.
